Asian English Billiards Championship and Asian Und
  Pankaj Advani, retained the title in English billiards Liu Chuang, become the new Asian Under-21 Snooker Champion

The Asian Billiards championship 2010 held in Yeshwant Club, Indore, Madhya Pradesh (INDIA) being organized by MP Billiards & Snooker Association at Yeshwant Club comes to an end with the title to Pankaj Advani of India. He beat Peter Gilchrist of Singapore 6-5 in a very high quality match.

The initial game Peter won 103-62 and then the next three consecutive games Pankaj grabbed with the clearance break of 100 in 2nd and 86 in 3rd game to take the score 3-1 in his favour. Peter crafted another break of 97 to narrow the lead with one game, but Pankaj maintained the same by giving another clearance break of 102 in 6th game.

9th game both the players played very tight and at that crucial Pankaj showing his class moved edge ahead of Peter 5-4 with 9th game score as 102-83. 10th game again Peter smashed a clearance break of 98 and forced Pankaj to play the decider game.

In decider game, Pankaj did not give any chance and with an unfinished break of 100, Pankaj retained the title third time in a row.

Asian U21 Snooker Championship
In the final clash for the Asian Under-21 title played between Liu Chuang of China and Thanawat Thirapongpaeboon of Thailand, Chinese boy Liu Chuang grabbed the title but Thanawat steal the heart of spectators.

Liu Chuang dominated the proceedings with the break of 97 in the opening frame and went ahead quickly to a score of 4-0. Liu displayed some fantastic potting and was carrying the matches one sided in his favour but Thanawat did not want him to take it so easy. In fifth frame, Thanawat made a comeback and smashed a magnificent break of 96 to release the pressure. Though Liu took next frame but Thanawat’s superb play with the breaks of 79, 50 and 71 in 7th 8th and 9th frames took him at the level of Liu 5-5. Last frame both the players played with some pressure and both missed couple of chances, and finally Liu with a small but worthy break wins the title.
