Chandra, a former semifinalist at the IBSF World Championship, has so far beaten LAI Chee Wei of Malaysia, Omar Al Ajlani of Saudi Arabia and Anas Marzoki of Syria.
Chandra is now all set to qualify for the last 16 knockout stage of the Championship.
Also faring well in the tournament is Hong Kong China veteran Au Chi Wai, who has won all his three matches in Group H and is now certain to make it to the knockout stages.
Mohammed Asif of Pakistan, the 2009 national champion, has also recorded three victories in a row in Group E and has finished on top of the group table.
Shi Hanqing of China, who upset Asian snooker hero Ratchapol Pu-Ob-Orm 4-0 on May 4, has also three wins to credit in as many matches and has been assured of a place in the last 16 round.
Ratchapol’s crunch match in Group G will be against Mohammed Sajjad of Pakistan, who has so won two matches and lost one. Winner of the clash is likely to make it to the knockout stage.
Eighth seed Fung Kwok Wai (pictured above) struggled against Takao Kurimoto of Japan before securing a 4-2 win his first Group F match on May 4.
