Zhang Anda was in fine touch in the title showdown as he fell inexperienced Thai player Noppon Saengkham 5-1 with ease.
The Chinese, who has now qualified to represent Asia on the lucrative 2009-2010 World Snooker professional Main Tour, was in complete control of the match throughout.
Noppon’s only claim to glory in the final was a run of 84 points in the third frame that helped him narrow the margin to 2-1.
However, Zhang Anda was then back to his best and had little trouble in capturing three frames on the trot to seal the fate of the match and walk away with the title.
The Chinese player also took home the highest break prize. He had scored a 114-point break in the deciding frame of his quarter-final against Thailand’s Yuttapop Pakpoj on April 17.
